Technical definition

Frame material

The frame material indicates what the main structure of a vehicle or device is made of, meaning the part that supports the weight of the user, the battery, the motor and the rest of the components. This specification is important because it directly affects the strength, weight, durability, stability and overall feeling of safety during use.

In electric scooters, e-bikes, mobility scooters and other lightweight vehicles, frames are commonly made from aluminium, steel or metal alloys, as they offer a good balance between rigidity, lightness and the ability to withstand daily use.

Knowing the frame material helps you compare different models more accurately and understand whether a product is designed for light urban use, more intensive use or greater structural resistance.
