The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max DE is the German version of the Scooter 5 Max. It keeps practically the same technical base as the standard version: 400 W nominal and 1000 W peak motor, 477 Wh battery, 60 km claimed range, front hydraulic suspension and rear dual-spring suspension, 10-inch tubeless tyres, front drum brake with rear E-ABS, turn signals, TCS and IPX5 water resistance. The main difference is the 20 km/h speed limit to comply with German regulations, compared with 25 km/h on the standard/European version. In addition, the German version does not include the ambient light due to regulatory requirements.
