The Cecotec Bongo D20E Connected is a lightweight urban electric scooter designed primarily for short journeys and users who value portability. Its motor delivers 250 W of nominal power and up to 500 W of maximum power, with a top speed of 20 km/h and the ability to tackle gradients of up to 15%. It is equipped with a 36 V, 5.2 Ah battery with a capacity of 187.2 Wh, for which Cecotec claims a maximum range of up to 20 km. Weighing just 12.2 kg and featuring a folding frame, it is particularly easy to carry, take up stairs or store at home, at work or when using public transport. The scooter uses 8.5-inch pneumatic tyres with inner tubes and combines a front electronic E-ABS brake with a rear disc brake. It has no suspension, providing a simple setup mainly intended for use on asphalt and urban surfaces. Equipment includes an LCD display, lighting, turn indicators and connectivity with Cecotec's mobile app, which allows users to check and manage different scooter settings. It also features IPX4 protection against water splashes. The Bongo D20E Connected is certified as a Personal Mobility Vehicle (VMP) for use in accordance with Spanish regulations. In terms of performance, range and especially its low weight, it is positioned as an entry-level option for everyday urban journeys where portability is more important than long range or high performance.
